Quick Take - Lewd Interlude

by Dr. Ellen Brandt

I've been posting a version of this Quick Take on various Republican-oriented Group boards at LinkedIn since this shocking! shocking! Lewd Interlude in the presidential campaign began Friday evening.

I'm placing it in a formal context now to gain a wider audience - hopefully including some senior Trump team members, several of whom are part of my LinkedIn network.

Following this post, I'm going to give my two cents worth of advice, telling Trump how to respond to questions about this (mostly ridiculous) Scandal of the Ages - in other words, hoping he might consider channeling ME!

Up until the debate, I will continue posting similar little advice pieces on how to respond to other Clinton attacks, starting with Taxes, her Scandal of the Ages last time out.

I realize I should have started doing this earlier - but better late than never.

It is high time the GOP's Loyalist Base took the reins from supposedly GOP-Loyal pundits who are bending over backwards to be "fair and balanced," while Their Side becomes the polar opposite - unfair and unbalanced, in every meaning of the word.

We GOP Base Loyalists are loyal first to the Republican Party itself and secondarily to Trump - as we would be to any other Candidate - as the representative of Our Side in the most crucial presidential election since at least 1980.

But first up, this Lewd-icrous "Outrage." Here's what pretty much every GOP Base Loyalist really thinks, as we roll our eyes and throw our shoes at the TV set every time the likes of Wolf Blitzer or Chuck Todd appears on screen ranting, raving, and turning red - well, actually Blue - in the face:

***** As if one needed further proof, the contrasting treatment of this 11-year-old scandal, from a time well before Trump considered becoming a professional politician, and the unbelievably serious and damaging revelations breaking from the Podesta Files and Clinton's secret Wall Street speeches, shows what we all already knew:

The Official Mainstream Media is now more than 90 percent in the hands of the Limousine Liberal Thug-Elite, who can and will control the conversation any way they feel like doing.

We need to stop being influenced by their nonstop Bias and Prejudice and outright Malice and think for ourselves, promoting Our Side's best interests, not Their Side's.

***** Trump has had a "potty mouth" pretty much forever - much moreso, one believes, before he became a politician. Is there anyone anywhere who didn't know that?

Yes, he should control it. So should all Americans. But deep down, I think most of us know that the vast majority of men, especially when they're schmoozing with other men in a locker room environment, spout sexist nonsense about women from time to time. Similarly, the vast majority of women, in our own locker room environments, spout sexist nonsense about men from time to time. Nobody should. Everybody does.

***** We should also note that "potty talk" is now part of our Official Culture - an Official Culture that is primarily in the hands of the Limousine Liberals themselves and Their Entertainers and Their Hollywood and Their Television and Their Print Media.

More offensive language than Trump's 11-year-old private conversation now appears publicly hour-by-hour, minute-by-minute on, say, Comedy Central (now the Nasty Young Males Network); Their Sides's captive TV shows like Saturday Night Live or any of the late night talk shows; Their various silly sex-drenched sitcoms; or pretty much any movie coming from the New Brat Pack that runs Hollywood today - see any film from Progressive Auteur Judd Apatow and his cinematic stable for prime examples.

***** The GOP has been hesitant to fight back Dirty - many now feel too hesitant. We are not just talking about the many sex scandals - Deeds, not Words - involving Bill Clinton or Hillary Clinton as his "psychological enabler." There are also many supposed scandals, constantly referenced in the foreign Media - but totally banned within the U.S. media - involving Candidate Clinton herself.

Notably, this litany of scandals portrays Hillary Clinton as strongly bisexual - read the various accounts of an alleged affair with Yoko Ono, for instance - which the U.S. Media dare not touch, for fear of appearing "anti-Gay."

This is absurd! Because in contrast with potential voters really being shocked by any man - or any woman - indulging in occasional "potty talk," it is probable - not just possible, but probable - that there is a considerable base of potential American voters, some of them  "Undecided," who would respond to Clinton's admission of bisexuality in . . . well, however they would respond to it.  Some might like her better for it. Others would not.

This type of "scandal," if one chooses to think of it as a scandal, is actually issues-relevant. We all understand the deep divisions in this country over gay marriage - mostly, I would add, because an absolute majority of Republicans think Obama has gone overboard in taking powers traditionally in state and local hands and placing them in the hands of a grasping Federal government.

Similarly, we all know about the (decidedly strange, believe many of us) conflict over unisex bathrooms - and their economic impact on individual states and localities - also mostly a States' Rights versus Federal Overeaching argument.

Therefore, if a Candidate for the presidency is, in fact, an acknowledged, rather than merely an alleged, bisexual, voters have the right to know about it.

***** And some additional tabloid fodder, widely circulated in foreign Media, seemingly banned in our captive American Mainstream Media:

There have been hundreds, possibly thousands, of articles in the foreign press alleging that Hillary Clinton has been a long-term alcohol abuser. She has only cut back recently, say some sources, because her doctors have told her continued abuse could be life-threatening.

And talk about life-threatening! Very recent reports, some from U.S. Media sources, allege that Clinton badly needs a heart valve operation, but that she refuses to have one until after the campaign.

This is important, not only because such operations have fairly high death rates, but also because the aftermath can greatly impact one's post-operation health for one's entire remaining lifetime. If you've never had a relative with a similar medical history, do the research.
